Tabbygail is an Angel

My wunderful Catster frend, Tabbygail, has gone to the Ranebow Bridge. There must be a traffik jam on the Bridge this week. I don't know how much more my face can leek, it's bin such a sad week.

This year, instead of running my own Halloween Photo Contest, we're running it on The Cat's Meow. Pleeze enter and tell yer frends!

Eligibility:

Each entrant must have a Catster profile page or a cat blog.

All cats in any household may enter, but only one cat per household can be a finalist.

Photos that are enhanced using a software graphics program are eligible. However, judges will consider the significant degree of difficulty involved in posing a cat in an actual costume when selecting finalists. A well-executed non-Photoshopped entry will place higher than a similarly well-executed Photoshopped entry.

Photoshopped entries that include a cat's head on a human body are ineligible to participate in the purrade or receive a prize.

How to Enter:

You'll upload your photo to the Blogger contest blog. Here's how you do it:

Go to blogger.com.

In the upper right-hand corner, sign in with username: TCMhalloween and password: halloween.

On the dashboard, click the blue "New Post" button.

Enter a Title in the Title box. (Best Title: YOUR NAME as COSTUME ["Fluffy as Michael Jackson"])

Click the COMPOSE tab to make it active

Click the photo icon (3rd from right) to upload a photo from your hard drive.

Provide a link to your Catster profile or blog.

Optional: Add explanatory text.

Entry Deadline

11:59 pm on Halloween -- Saturday, October 31st.

Halloween Purrade

Entries will be posted on The Cat's Meow on Halloween in our Halloween Purrade.

Entries submitted after 9 pm PT on Friday, Oct 30th might be subject to a delay in being published to the Purrade. You'll be posted to the Purrade sometime on Halloween, but it could be later in the day.

Winner Selection

The finalists will be announced on The Cat's Meow on Sunday, Nov 1st. The winner will be drawn at random (via random.org) from the finalists, and announced on Monday, Nov 2nd.

The FL's new best frend, Hilary Swank

This week wuz vary ixsiting in owr howse cuz the Food Lady got to innerview Hilary Swank, hoo has a moovey coming owt this weekend. She's a glammeruss moovey star. I was kinda mifft that I didn't git to interview Hilary, but the FL ixplaned that on The Cat's Meow, she innerviews peeple, and I innerview cats. She had kind of a bossy tone in her voice win she sed it.

Hangin' in San Fransisko

Last week me and the FL took BART to San Fransisko to a place called Eddie Rikkinbakers wich is run by a big orange cat named Mr Higgins. Some of my flat cat frends came, too, inclooding (L to R) Yolo, Alfie China Cat, Guido, me, and Baci:

We were sad to lern that Mr Higgins just had surjery to cut off one of his legs cuz he had canser. Here is a pikcher of Mr Higgins. He's being holded by Alfie China Cat's mom:

Mr Higgins wayed 27 pownds before his operayshun. I think he ways less than that now. He's bak to werk. Cuz he duzn't git many sik days even tho he runs the place.

Alfie China Cat's mum came all the way frum the Yoo-Kay. I asked if she new Eric and Flynn or Baby Mao and Yao-Lin but she didn't. She is in owr country traveling evryware for a hole MUNTH viziting Catster moms. Imajine that!

We all had a good time. The Cat moms were VARY LOWD tho. They kinda herted my eardrums like Mao's bellowing does.

Then we went bak to the BART and wint home.

Beezer the Cat is vary sik and needs a LOT of purrs and purrayers. The FL and Mr TF met his mom last weekend at the dinner for Jeter Harris' mom, and it is vary shokking that suddenly Beezer is sik.

This has bin a vary bizzy and hektik week. We are gonna be CHEERLEEDERS rooting fur my best frend Jete's mom to compleet the 60-mile brest canser walk. And I'm even gonna meet Jete's mom (and other catmoms) in purrson on FRIDAY!!!! I'm so ixsited!!!!!

Today we finished the sine to inspire Jete's mom so she'll have the enerjey to compleet the walk. Heer I am inspekting the sine. As yoo can see, the Food Lady took my advice and made the sine PINK cuz PINK is the most byootifullest and most inspirayshunul color thare is. She's even got pink POM POMS fur all the cheerleeders!

Jete's Mom's Walk: Day Two

WOW! Whut a day! We wacht all the brest canser walkers arrive in Sawsaleeto after they krost the Golden Gate Bridge wich is akshully oringe. It was excitin. Me an Jete were kinda wishin sumbuddy had rememberd to bring Bluddy Marys, but evrybuddy wuz just drinkin koffey wich wuz good cuz the Food Lady was kinda kranky.

The most ixsiting thing was meeting owr grate frend, Fiona Bun and her mom, DKM. Fiona smelt just as good as her snuggles. Rocky will be SO JELLUS!

Jete's Mom's Walk: Day One

Today was vary exsitin. I got to go to THE BEECH! Yoo may have herd of The Beech. It is the biggest litter box in existinse, with litter as far as the eye can see. It is amazin. It may be one of the wunders of the werld, but I'd have to chek wikkypeedia for that.

I didn't need to poop in The Beech, tho, cuz I pooped in the litter box in the car TWICE so that Mr Echo's mom could get the full Skeezy experience. We just call that "gettin the full Skeezy."

Cap'n Jeter

We wint on a tour on a Duk Bote, wich is a masheen that can go on land and water. Heer's me an my BFF, Jeter Harris, beefore da tour started. We're waring owr duk wissles, wich make sownds like duks. I think I'm gonna sell mine to Tripper. We got pink ones cuz it's fur brest canser.

Win the Captin asked fur volunteers to drive, Jete neerly trampled a six-yeer old kid to git to the driver's seet. He shur noze win to take advantije of a good oppertoonity.

Me an Jete's mom helped him drive a littul by giving him good sugjeschuns like "A littul more to the rite, Jete," and "OMC THARE'S A FRAYTER HEDDED STRATE FOR US!!!!" The last one was a joke. Me and Jete's mom never got tired of that one, but Jete wuzn't laffin and laffin. He took his captin's job SRSLY.

Jete did such a good job drivin da bote that he got his captin's lisense.

I was vary prowd to be Gilligan to Jete's Skipper.

The Best Lunch I Ever Had

Heer is a pikcher of me and my BFF Jeter Harris. We wint siteseeing in San Fransisko. We had sum drinks win we stopt fur lunch. Jeter tride to order a Long Island Ice Tee, but they didn't have it, so he settled fur a "servaysuh." We were laffin an laffin, even tho Jete duzn't ixzaktly have his laffin face on in this foto.
