Manly Mancat Micky Munday

One of the manliest mancats I know is Mickey Mantle. Like me, he has a reel job: he's the doorman for the Hotel Harris on Lon Guyland.
I have herd the FL say that Mickey's her faverit of all the cats at the Hotel Harris cuz he's all cuddly and purry. But of korse, that's beefore Jete' deesided he liked her cuz she brot him sum Hartz Crunch 'n' Clean treets (wich he neerly bit her hand off trying to eet cuz he liked 'em so much) and a nickel bag o' nip (the reely good stuff).
I reely like Mick. The two of us can just hang owt not sayin' a werd to each other. It's like we can reed each others thots without akshully knowing whut the other one is thinking. Or sumthing like that.
I feel manlier just having spent a littul time with Mick.

Meet my new frend Elvis

Heer is my grate new frend, Elvis. Elvis is a Savannah, wich meens he's ginormous! He ways about 25 pownds. He was da star of da fashun show. He is a fashun show veterun model like that pritty Kristy Brinkley. We talked abowt guy stuff an plether jakkits. Elvis has lots of plether jakkits with his name spelt owt in dimunds on the bak. And chek out his crib! He has one sweet mancave.

The FL was thrilled win Elvis' FL let her pet him cuz they usually don't let strangers tuch thare cats at da cat shows. Yoo'd think she'd never seen a cat before, she was so excited. I was a littul consernd cuz she wuzn't waring her deepenz, and thare cood've bin an embarrissin aksident, but she finely pulled herself together.

Da best pizza east of Chicago

On Sunday me and da FLand Jete's Mom and Mrs Caroline (one of da glammeruss Blogpaws founders) went to dinner at Salvatore's Pizza in da byootiful town of Port Washington, NY. Heer I am with Salvatore hizself. It was a local joint and Jete's mom seemed to know all the locals. I didn't eet it myself cuz thare were no Fancy Feast pizzas on the menu, but thre laydeez seemed to think it wuz da best pizza EVAH. (I lernt that's the way yoo say ever on Lon Guyland.) I made lots of new frends amungst da locals. Jete's rite: Life is grate!

Speshul Gifts Frum New Yawk

Well, I've gotted a lot of freqwint flyer miles this week. Flat Skeezix was in Portlund Oregun AND Port Washingtun, NY (home of my grate frend Jeter Harris.)

And of korse, the FL had prezints for me: a New Yawk Yankees Jerzey with reel pinstripes AND a hot pink Kate Spayed handbag. They are frum the All Paws Pet Booteek in Ry New Yawk.

I LOVE VIRGIN!!!!!

As yoo may or mayn't know, I was in Noo Yawk this week. Sinse I am a purrfeshunul cat riter, I got to go the annual cat riter's confrinse. And I got to meet with agents and editers. It was a littul excitin. But the best part was gittin to stay with my best frend Jeter Harris. We stade up way late laffin an laffin. I also tride to inspekt da growt, but Jeter's mom made us keep the lites off. So I gess the growt was okay, but I woodn't sware on my life that it wuzn't.

The second best part was gittin to sit in the frunt row at da fameuss Westchester Cat Show fashun show. Yoo can watch my video coverage heer.

The therd best part was gittin to fly on Virgin, my faverite airline. They have lots of PINK inside the part ware yoo ride. They don't serve Mother's Milk but they DO serve PINK cocktales and toona fish.

I will post lots more pikchers this week! And I think I overherd the FL say that she had PREZINTS for me frum Jete and Morgan's Mom!!!!

Me an the Crazy Cat Lady Riters

Frankly, I'm a little confyoozed.

Yoo see, I sined up to go to the Cat Writers Association confrinse cuz I thot I'd git to meet a lot of other cats like me hoo rite stuff.

But thare are NO CATS HEER. Not even a single flat cat. In the pikcher above, I'm pozing with sum of my admirers. One of them is Sparkle the Deeziner Cat's mom. Sparkle, as yoo all know, is VARY fashunuble. Me and Sparkle's mom go way bak. And one of the ladies, Tamar, we met win I wuz in New Yawk at the Friskies art gallery opening thing in April. So it wuz good seeing these good frends agin. Even if thare wern't any Flat Cats to hang with.

Beefore we go to the meetings, we look up whut's going on in the skedule. It is a vary byootiful skedule becuz it is PINK! And it has a drawing by the FL on the bak.

The swag wuz pritty good. Not as good as BlogPaws, but still good. Thare's cat nip stuff and THREE litter skoops. I git the sqwerts just THINKIN' of all thoze litter skoops.

The dinner wuz good. The FL sez that's becuz thare wuz an open bar. In my opinyun, the bar sukt cuz they just had Coor's Lite and Amstell, no Mother's Milk. And they did not serve ANY Fancy Feest, wich is just RONG at a CAT Writer Confrinse.

And I cannot beeleeve it is 30 degreeze owtside!!!! I didn't bring a swetter!

We are going to meet Morgan's mom tomorrow and go to the Cat Show!!!! I'm hoping that beefore we go I will git to have my pikcher taken with the Cat Fancy editor, cuz I'd kinda like to be a centerfold one day.... now don't git all ixsited: I plan to keep all my clothes on!

Yep, I'm hedded bak to Noo Yawk Noo Yawk. I am prowd to say I've hit the big time. The FL is takin' me to the National Cat Writers Confrinse, and we're going to a FELINE FASHION SHOW AT THE WESTCHESTER CAT CLUB!!!!! I mite have a hard time remaining continent.
